(1) Development and application of conceptual and mathematical models to advance our basic understanding of fluid flow and tracer transport in fractured rock masses and heterogeneous porous media.

(2) Research to investigate the physical processes in non-isothermal, multi-phase, multicomponent flow in partially saturated medium.

(3) Design and performing of flow, transport, and coupled processes field tests in unsaturated fractured rocks and development of interpretation methods.
