LBNL has made preparations for participants to stay at The Hotel Durant in Berkeley, CA and at the Suncoast in Las Vegas, NV.

The Durant Hotel is within close proximity to the laboratory. Please be sure to contact the hotel to reserve your room for the dates that you will be staying. Please call and make your reservation as soon as possible to ensure your stay for the training.

The group name that LBNL has reserved a block of rooms for is: IAEA/LBL.

The reservation deadline for the Hotel Durant is Friday, Nov. 11, 2005. It is your responsibility to make this reservation before the cutoff date. Further information will be awaiting for you upon your arrival at the hotel regarding the training.

The group name that LBNL has reserved a block of rooms for is: IAEA.

You must identify yourself as an attendee of the IAEA to obtain a room reservation under the room block. Without this identification, you will not be quoted the special group rate and may be told that the hotel is sold out.

The reservation deadline for the Suncoast is Friday, Nov. 18, 2005. It is your responsibility to make this reservation before the cutoff date. Any reservation received after this date will be accepted on a "space available" basis at prevailing rates. The Suncoast Hotel & Casino offers a complimentary scheduled Airport Shuttle service (reservations are required).

When arriving at San Francisco Airport please take the Bayporter as your mode of transportation. Please call and reserve your seat with Bayporter Express at 415-467-1800.

Bayporter Express shuttle hours of operation are 3:30 am to midnight daily (except Thanksgiving and Christmas days). Advance reservations are required and are accepted on a space availability basis. For more information on Bayporter Express refer to the following web site: www.bayporter.com.
